The Wedding Day
At James Peterson Fine Art Photography we strive to capture your special day in a natural, relaxed and unique style. From the big moments, down to the very smallest of details, from your first kiss as Mr. and Mrs. to the joyful and proud look between parents, we strive to capture all the details to retell the story of your big day. Every wedding is a unique and beautiful story and it’s our aim to cater for each couples individual desires. To keep things simple we have a standard routine we follow on your wedding day which is flexible and can be changed at your wish.

Brides and Bridesmaid Preparation
As soon as you start getting prepared, we will be there to capture every moment. During this time we capture the bride and bridesmaids preparing, friends and family who are present and involved in the preparation. The tears of joy in the parent’s eyes as they see their beautiful daughter just radiant on her big day, the dress, bouquet, wedding rings and shoes, capturing the bride as she embarks on her journey to the ceremony, plus any other small details that you desire.

Wedding Ceremony
Your special moment in time and the most important part of your day. Photo coverage includes the groom and groomsmen before the ceremony, arrival of the bridal party, bride walking down the aisle, wedding ceremony, signing the register, as well as family portraits.

Location Photography
This is all about spending some intimate time with your beloved as James Peterson captures stunning and creative portraits. Photos include the bride and groom, with and without the bridal party at your chosen scenic locations. We recommend allowing a minimum of two hours for this session. 

Reception
From the handmade decorations to the stunning transformation of the venue. We aim to capture all the special moments of your celebration. Photos include cutting the cake, speeches, the first dance, throwing of the bouquet and table group shots. This is subject to your reception timetable and we make every effort to fit in with your schedule and get the photos you want. 

Extra time at the reception is available as an extra with any package. 

Wedding Package Features

Pre Wedding Portrait Sitting

We believe that it is important that you feel relaxed and comfortable with your photographer on the day, and that is why every package includes a pre-wedding Portrait sitting. This is a great opportunity to meet your photographer and take some great portraits shots, potentially something to use for your invites. 

Post Production of Photos
Selection and editing of your photos is included in every package. Using the latest and most sophisticated editing software to ensure you get the highest quality images and the most visually stunning photographs. All photos are taken at a high resolution capable of being enlarged up to 30” and still look crystal clear. Photos are produced in colour, black and white and sepia. 

Additional Items 
 Additional hours at the reception - $150 per hour 
 Second Photographer – Two sets of eyes are always better than one and maximize the level of detail captured on your big day - $400 
 Photos at the groom’s house as the groom and his groomsmen prepare - $300 

Digital package 
 Stylish DVD with 300-400 stunning images from your wedding day in high resolution. 
 All images have been beautifully edited in either colour, black and white or sepia and are ready to print.
